Can I use this Dutch oven on an induction stove top/oven? The Overmont Dutch oven can be used on gas stove tops, induction stove tops, charcoal grills, campfires, and in the oven. Please do not put it in the microwave.

Is this pre-seasoned? Do I need to season it myself? It is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use. After each use, lightly oil the inside of the pan with your preferred oil.

Can a Dutch oven rust? Yes, a Dutch oven can rust. When cooking, steam is released and condenses to water as the oven cools down. Moisture causes rust in cast-iron products.

What should I do if it is already rusted? Rust can be removed. Follow our steps for cooking, cleaning, and seasoning. Refer to our manual or rust removal video for details.

Is it normal for cast iron pans to have uneven thickness at the bottom? Yes, it is normal. The bottom center of the pan gets the warmest while cooking, so it tends to be thicker than the rest.
